Grégoire Martinon
AI Research Director

Grégoire Martinon is AI Research Director at Emerton Data. He has 11 years of experience in Data Science, AI and GenAI, having delivered more than 30 data and AI projects across defense, financial services, public services, cosmetics, telecoms, transport and energy.


Before joining Emerton Data, Grégoire spent several years as Lead Data Scientist at Quantmetry and Capgemini Invent, where he led the Responsible AI and AI Robustness R&D streams. He built and audited high-risk AI systems (more than 20 use cases audited), delivered 20+ trainings on Responsible AI and LLM robustness, and developed agentic software for military command centers and satellite image analysis for military intelligence. He also authored two open-source packages with more than 2,000 GitHub stars combined.


As an AI leader, Grégoire combines deep expertise in AI research, model robustness and Responsible AI governance with hands-on delivery of AI and GenAI use cases, from forecasting and simulation problems in energy and transport to agentic and generative AI applications.


Grégoire holds a degree from ENS Paris-Saclay and a PhD in General Relativity from Université Paris Diderot.
