Ugo Philippart is an associate partner, with over 10 years of experience in leveraging data science for business. He leads the customer-centricity & marketing performance practice of Emerton Data, which builds bespoke data products helping companies better reach and serve their customers.

Before joining Emerton Data, Ugo was a senior manager with Ekimetrics Hong Kong, where he used advanced analytics to feed the decision making of CxO’s of large brands & companies throughout the APAC region, with a particular focus on Mainland China.

Ugo’s expertise encompasses data strategy & transformation, data science for marketing performance measurement & optimization, data-driven brand building, AI for customer-centricity, customer recruitment & retention, revenue & growth management, time series forecasting as well as operations research.

He has supported businesses in the retail, financial services, agri-food, aerospace & defence, energy & utilities and higher education sectors.

Ugo holds an MSc in engineering and computer science from Telecom Paristech as well as an MSc in corporate strategy from the Antai Business School of the Shanghai Jiaotong University.
