Context and objectives

Emerton supported a European Telecom operator to design an IoT strategy aiming at  seizing Internet-of-things opportunities and generating additional growth.


Key project steps

n the first step of the project,  Emerton analyzed the IoT ecosystem: ecosystem mapping, rules of the game, competitive positioning, markets trends, benchmark of existing technologies.

In a second step, Emerton analyzed the most relevant IoT use cases (8 across 20 verticals) and performed a customer voice analysis to understand the requirements and the key success factors of the selected end-markets. 3 priority target segments with a good fit and first commercial leads were identified.

In the third step, we co-designed the Go-To-Market strategy with client teams, including priority targets, channels and detailed opportunities, and we co-drafted an offer roadmap and business plan.
